Description

Four of these guns were built by Vickers for the Armored Cruiser Rurik. Later, four more were ordered from OSZ and were delivered between 1911 and 1915. Two more were ordered in 1917 but were never completed.

After Rurik was decommissioned these guns and turrets were put in storage for use in coastal defense installations, but they were never actually used for that purpose.
